Something I wrote last night, from the line, "What was he like?" Enjoy

Ziggy Thomas was a ragged old man. Deep wrinkles graced his face showing the pace of time. His hair was waspy, thin, almost translucent except for the slight grey tinge that managed to hold its ground. His eyes were dull, once a magnificent blue, were now sunken and fading away. His lips were pursed as if in deep thought. But then he smiled and his face lit up, his eyes sparkled and you realized there was more to this old man than meets the eye. Especially when he tips his hat and ambles on past.
